International Food, Food Technologies and Packing Industry Exhibition in Libya, 8th Biggest Petroleum Manufacturer Country.
3rd International Food, Food Technologies and Packing Industry Exhibition is going to be between dates of 02-05 May 2011 at Tripoli International Fairground in Tripoli / Libya that is significant market for food, food technologies and packing industry. The fair will be held with together 3rd International Machinery, Machinery Technologies Exhibition at the same date and the same fairground. As the manufacturing industry is not well developed, almost all finished and semi-finished products have to be imported. Libya has begun some market-oriented reforms. Initial steps have included applying for membership of the World Trade Organisation, reducing subsidies, and announcing plans for privatisation. Under the current government revaluations, Libya is undergoing a business boom. Many government-run industries are being privatised. Since 2008 Libya has started to support the manufacturing industry and developing strategies to create a manufacturing industry in Libya. There is huge demand for machinery, food and pack sectors in Libya, so the last exhibition was a story of success for %80 of the participants who had signed new contracts, sold their machines, machinery equipments and Technologies during the exhibition, so far %55 of them has already reserved their locations for this years event. In 2010 the fair was actualized approximately 2.250 sqm net stand space and was visited by 5.604 professional visitors .Totally 97 companies participated the show mainly from Turkey , Libya, Pakistan , Italy ,Taiwan, Denmark , Algeria , Egypt , Tunisia, South Africa .The show attracted the visitors mainly from Turkey, Taiwan, Egypt , Chad, Tunisia, Algeria, UAE, Italy, Denmark, Germany, Nigeria, S.Africa, Morocco, India, Malaysia.
